About I. M. Sechenov State Medical University

The Moscow Medical Academy (MMA), founded by I.M. Sechenov, is the countries oldest and largest medical higher education school. It began its voyage in 1758 with only six students at Imperial Moscow University's faculty. The medical faculty of Moscow State University was split off in 1930 to become the first Moscow Medical Institute.
