Yangzhou University was established in 1902, located in Yangzhou Jiangsu Province of China. The University covers an area of about 4,090 mu (or some 273 hectares) with a floor area of 1.49 million square meters. All its campuses are located closely in the downtown area of Yangzhou. The University offers many graduate and undergraduate courses. Currently 1,042 International students are studying at the University. It has a faculty staff of 2,658 members which are engaged in providing quality education to the students. The University emerged out of a merger of six colleges of China mainly Yangzhou Medical College, Yangzhou water conservancy college, Yangzhou Institute of Technology, Yangzhou Teachers’ college, and Yangzhou Agriculture College. The University is recognized by WHO/MOE and MCI. Classes are conducted in English Medium in the University.

Yangzhou has moist summers and dry winters. July is the hottest month with a temperature of above 28 degree centigrade. January is the coldest month with an average temperature of about 1 degree centigrade.

Typhoons also occur in the month of August and September.

Rainfall mainly occurs in the month of June and July and 45% of rainfall mainly occurs in summer. The rainy season is also known as plum rain season. Yangzhou attracts a lot of students in summer mainly July and August to take part in summer camps and in winter the local culture of the city is celebrated like the Food festival, Bathing Festival, Cruise and theatrical performance is carried out when the climate is pleasant.

MBBS IN China has specially 1 Intake in a year. Admissions generally start from the month of June/July .But pre booking starts from the month of Nov/Dec. China has very limited seats. Most of the seats are already filled by students outside India. Top Universities which are world ranked accept applications from brilliant student only. They have set their own percentage criteria and NEET score for admission to the University. Classes start from the month of September onwards. So, our students start departing from the first week of September.

Yangzhou University offers scholarship to International students based on the percentage of marks acquired by the student in intermediate. Almost all the Universities in China provide scholarships based on their own criteria. Each University has set up its own benchmark for providing Scholarship to International students. Scholarship amount ranges from Rs.4000 RMB or 40,000 INR in the 1st year of study irrespective of their NEET Score. From the 2nd year onwards the top performers of the University will be provided with Scholarship based on their attendance. Any student who is doing well in her studies is eligible for Scholarship.

The University hostel is within the campus only. The University is spread in 1000 acres of land. So you will find everything inside the campus. The University has separate hostels for both boys and girls and they are provided with all facilities inside the hostel. Canteen and super markets are all present within the campus nearby the hostel .All necessary items could be bought from the super markets. Students don’t have to go out for buying any necessity items. Hostel is very safe for girls as it is provided with full safety and security. None of the students are allowed to enter the hostel without a biometric entry. It is compulsory for all the students. Also if any outsider wants to meet the students they have to take special permission, then only they are allowed to enter inside the hostel.
