Jiangsu University established in the year 1902 is located at the Zhenjiang Jiangsu Province. The University is a combination of Zhenjiang Teachers college, Zhenjiang Medical College and University of Science and Technology under the permission of Chinese Ministry of Education in 2001. Its former institute Jiangsu University of Science and Technology was the main institute among the 88 key Universities which was designated by the State Council in 1978.

Jiangsu Medical University offers Undergraduate, Masters and PHD programs in different fields like Science, Economics, Management, Medicine, Education, History, Literature and Law. The University offers 170 masters program, 42 PhD Programs and 88 undergraduate programs. 13 post-doctoral research stations are also available at the university level.

The University has a total of 5,763 staff members. Among them are 450 professors and 2,475 of them are faculty members.

33,000 students are studying currently at the University. Among them 842 are foreign students coming from 74 countries. The University promotes high level research. The total research fund amounts to 25 billion RMB in the recent 5 years.

Jiangsu University is located in the Zhenjiang city of Jiangsu Province, China. Zhenjiang is the 8th biggest city of Jiangsu with a population of 632,552. China has specially 1 Intake in a year. Admissions start from the month of April. But pre booking starts from the month of Nov/Dec. China has very limited seats. Most of the seats are filled by International students apart from India. Top Universities which are world ranked accept applications from brilliant student only. They have set their own percentage criteria and NEET score for the students. Classes start from the month of September onwards. So Students start departing from the first week of September.

Jiangsu University offers scholarship to International students based on the percentage of marks acquired by the student in intermediate. Almost all the Universities in China provide scholarship. Each University has set up its own benchmark for providing Scholarship to International students. Scholarship amount ranges from Rs.50,000 to 5 lacs.

It completely depends upon the student performance including physical activities. Any student who is doing well in her studies is eligible for Scholarship.

Jiangsu University hostel is located within the campus only. The University has two separate hostels for both boys and girls and they are provided with all facilities inside the hostel. Canteen and super markets are both available within the university campus. Students don’t have to go out for buying any necessity items. Hostel is very safe for girls as it is provided with full safety and security. Students are not allowed to enter the hostel without a biometric entry. It is compulsory for all the students. Also if any outsider wants to meet the students they have to take special permission, then only they are allowed to enter inside the hostel.
