About Sumy State University

Sumy State University located in the city of Sumy, which is in the North East of Ukraine was founded in the year 1993.The University has a total enrollment of nearly 14,000 students in a year. Hostel

The University has a total number of 5 hostels for its students. All the buildings are very near to the University. The hostel has an accommodation of nearly 700-800 students. The University has recently opened a new hostel with full facilities for its students. They can enjoy home like facilities in a hostel. Each room has an attached kitchen, where they can cook of their own. They can buy all the vegetables from outside and use their own utensils. The hostel is quiet secured for the students to stay and emergency services are also available any time. The students have to report whenever they are out of hostel and cannot arrive late at night. The hostel rooms are fully furnished to meet the demands of the student and a huge amount has been invested every year to add on more facilities for the students.

The University offers a large number of Undergraduate and graduate courses. Students are pursuing bachelor, pre bachelor, specialist course, and master’s degree programme from the University. The University almost provides 26 numbers of courses in bachelor’s degree. The undergraduate programme is generally for 4 year.

Admission Process of Sumy State University

The admission process of Sumy State University is quite simple and easy. Students who wish to study MBBS in Ukraine at the University are required to furnish their educational documents for the application to the University such as Passport, NEET score card, 12th pass marksheet and 2 photographs to Edurizon.
After the submission of the documents the University will send the admission letter within 3-4 days and the Invitation letter from the Ministry within 15-20 days.
Next process is to apply for Visa which takes 10-12 days time.
For Visa application the candidate has to submit all his original documents along with bank statement with a recent 3 months closing balance of 2.5 lacs.
Lastly the candidate is ready to fly.

Eligibility

The following eligibility criteria should be met by Indian students in order to get admission to Sumy State University

Passed 10+2 or equivalent from any recognized education board in science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the main subjects and English as a compulsory subject.
Applicants seeking admission in MBBS at Sumy State University has to score a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology combined at the 10+2 level.
The applicant has to take the entrance test conducted by the University and must obtain the minimum cut-off marks to be eligible to enroll.
The applicant must have his/ her educational certificates translated into Ukrainian language and have them duly attested at the Ukraine Embassy.
The applicant must be of at least 17 years of age at the time of applying for the MBBS program.
The applicant must hold a valid passport.

In addition, the University demands that the applicant must be of sound physical and mental health, testimonials of which have to be furnished at the time of admission. The candidate must be able to provide medical certificates stating the same. The applicant is also required to undergo HIV test as a mandatory clause for admission.
