Taras Shevchenko National University of Kiev is one of the oldest University of Ukraine founded in 1834. The University is also known as KNU in Ukraine. It is located in the main city of Kiev, which is the capital of Ukraine. The University ranks among the top 500 universities of the world. It is counted as one of the best Universities of Ukraine. It has also been among the top three Universities of USSR during the era of Soviet Union.

After Lviv and Kharkiv University, it is the third oldest university of the country. The University has five institutes and fifteen faculties. Some of the notable aluminis are Leonid Kravchuk, Viacheslav, Nikolai Berdyaev, Viacheslav Chornovil, and Mykhailo Hrushevskyi.

The name of the University Taras Shevchenko is named after a Ukrainian literature. The University has trained greater number of specialist than any other University in the country. It is one of the most reputable Universities of Ukraine. More than 30,000 students are studying at the University. Admission process of Taras Shevchenko National University of kyiv.

The admission procedure is carried out in accordance with the Ukrainian norms. The candidate must apply to the University with all his educational documents.

Documents Required

  • Student’s passport with translation in the Ukrainian language.
  • Educational documents of last studied school along with translation in Ukrainian language.
  • Attorney letter that grants the right of receiving the Invitation letter, if the candidate doesn’t personally receive it.
